Thirteen color plates contained in folded bifoli and four quartini, all contained in a rather worn editorial case of rigid cardboard with titles on the spine: dust and dirt stains, cuts and pressure marks especially on the upper edge. Plates in excellent condition, bifoli with slight yellowing and minimal traces of dust on the title page. Texts in Italian/English.

Description

This edition of the Lunari between the 16th and 19th centuries, composed of 13 color plates plus four quartini, printed on Fabriano Rosaspina paper made specifically for Edizioni Gian Alvise Salamon, produced with the types of the Officina Grafica P. Scarrone, was printed in 500 copies. The materials presented here reproduce, maintaining their dimensions and other formal characteristics, thirteen lunari in-folio printed in Umbria between 1565 and 1822, one printed in Spoleto, the other twelve in Foligno; the latter are part of the Faloci Pulignani Collection of the Municipal Library. Text in Italian/English.
