Specimens in good condition, inside a red canvas rigid cardboard box closed with a satin ribbon. Illustration applied to the front. There are some dust spots, visible in particular on the back. First volume with paperback binding and slight traces of dust on the cover. Streaked back. Parts of the cuts and pages with yellowing. Second volume in hardcover binding. Blank binding, with gilt illustrations on boards and spine. Texts in Italian language.

Description
The first volume contains b/w and color images, while the second is a complete reproduction of the Trivulziano Codex n. 2159. The latter contains 27 portraits of women of the most illustrious Milanese and Lombard families painted in watercolor and enclosed in a circular paper screen that can be opened: at the top the name of the lady, below a laudatory Latin couplet.
