Description

Very RARE edition of the comprehensive on the manifesto, on strong paper, printed recto and verso. On the recto the text of the poem “call and response” with a picture of Giorgio Morandi. The footnote of the direction of the Sheet of paper the justification of the variants of this second edition of the text of the poem: “The poem by Eugenio Montale, which bears the title "the call-and-response," first appeared in the small collection, Saturated, printed by the Officina Bodoniana of Verona, in an edition of 150 pieces for the wedding of Alessandra Beans and Gabriele Crespi, held in Formia on December 22, 1962...gave the first news of George's Paw in an article that appeared in the Corriere della Sera on march 7, 1963. The lesson we followed the text of the opera was suggested by Montale same”. The direction of the Sheet features the notes of Maria Vailati, under the title of The stables of Augeas: the notes are preceded by the indication “The collection of material for this sheet the steering wheel, stretched out in collaboration with the Center of Activity and Documentation of Contemporary Poetry, has been curated by Maria Vailati, to which are due the explanatory notes”; in the Notes you read quotes from the prose and poetry of Montale, from cuttlefish Bones, The occasions and The Storm. The Paper has been paginated by Franco Magnani.
